Myrna Roberts' Bio
Myrna Roberts is an Independent Scholar who received Bachelor`s and Master’s degrees from the University of Oklahoma, and a Ph.D. in Communication from Regent University. Dr. Roberts enjoys both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies having completed extensive coursework in both areas.
She previously taught as an Assistant Professor of Communication at University of the Southwest’s College of Arts and Sciences in Hobbs, New Mexico. Myrna has lectured at University of Oklahoma in Social Work and African / African American disciplinies. Dr. Roberts is interested in human identity, culture, and intercultural communication (specifically as analyzed through the lenses of postcolonialsim & poststructuralism). She is an editor, writer, and reviewer for academic and popular press. She holds vast knowledge in Harlem, English, French & Italian Renaissance; along with African Diaspora. |
